Wildlife & nature experience

We don't guarantee wildlife encounters, but in many cases we have enjoyed seeing:

  • ·Howler monkeys and white-faced capuchin monkeys
  • ·Sloths resting in the canopy
  • ·A wide variety of tropical birds
  • ·Native stingless bees and exotic frogs

From the starting platform, guests enjoy panoramic views of the Terraba River below and, on clear days, the Pacific Ocean in the distance. This is a genuine eco-tourism experience that connects visitors to the extraordinary biodiversity of Costa Rica's southern zone.
